The 1.25-sq m (13.5-sq ft) city of Sunny Isles Beach is located on a barrier island in Florida’s north-east Miami-Dade County. As a result, the eventual residents of the Ritz-Carlton Residencies will be able to feast their eyes of a mix of ocean, city and intracoastal views.
Designed by Arquitectonica, with interiors by Italian designer Michele Bönan, the 52-story beach-front tower is to be situated on a 2.2-ac (0.9-ha) site. It will house a total of 212 residences, with five penthouse units.
Inside, the building’s ceiling heights reach 10 ft (3 m), increasing to 15-ft (4.6 m) in the penthouses. Each residence has its own private elevator lobby, along with Gaggenau appliances, Snaidero kitchen cabinetry, stone countertops and wine coolers. They are all offered with pre-wired high speed Internet access, Wi-Fi and smart home technology, while selected residences boast terraces with private pools and service quarters.
In addition to these features, occupants will also be able to take advantage of a host of services. These range from relatively conventional offerings, like 24/7 valet parking, a 24/7 concierge service and a 24/7 attended lobby, to the more exclusive likes of a fuel delivery service.
Residents can make use of housekeeping, grocery shopping, personal chef, personal shopping and dog walking services, as well as enlist help for function and event planning and in-residence dining and catering. Leisure and entertainment services including personal fitness training, yacht chartering, airline and private flight reservations, golf bookings and arrangements for trips to restaurants, spas and theaters are also on offer. A private club high up the building provides panoramic views, and a terrace overlooking the downtown area and the ocean. It offers eight guest suites, a media or theater room, a lounge and a business center. For eating and drinking, there is a breakfast area, a private dining area with a kitchen and a bar. Among the other features of the Ritz-Carlton Residences are a private beach with cabanas, chaise lounges and umbrellas, a pool and a beach restaurant offering pool- and beach-service. Residents can make use of the complex’s oceanfront fitness center, outdoor massage area, pool, hot tubs, sauna and steam rooms. The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles Beach is due for completion in 2018 and will be managed the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. The video below provides a fly-through of the development.
